Welcome, fair Knights of Knee!
This Saturday, 11/27: Meet at 8 am at Starbucks Coffee, Tualatin to go to the Post-Turkey Walk, Woodburn, OR. Directions and details to the walk.
Monday, 11/29: PIR Walk of Lights, Portland. Wendy will be ready to start at 5 pm, but can await anybody who RSVPs. This walk circles the track 2-3 times, so those arriving at 6 pm - give my cell phone a call when you are due to arrive and we'll discuss meeting and walking as I pass by the start again. Directions and details to the walk
Saturday, 12/4: Old Town Christmas Walk, Sherwood, followed by party at Wendy's in Tualatin. I suggest parking at my house and that we then carpool from there. Directions and details to the walk. Meet to carpool at 3:45 pm. Party to start around 6 pm, bring an appetizer of some sort. Wendy will provide a major protein source. RSVP about what you would prefer to drink, or BYOB.
Knights of Knee
This blog is dedicated to the Knights of Knee walking team. Give us shrubbery (a nice one, not too expensive) or we shall say Ni! Between our quests, we sequin vests.

PIR Walk of Lights: Oh boy, pretty lights, happy crowds, lots of fun people and oh my, all of the dogs. I was so excited to get to the Walk of Lights...but wait, no Wendy? My fault for not RSVPing early enough. Oh well, I'll go anyway. I had my little dog, Cricket, with me so it would be fun...but wait, hardly any dogs? Oh well, Cricket is still timid since it's her first public appearance. She could just sniff all of the people...but wait, hardly any people? Oh well, less people means no lines at the coffee tent at the halfway point...but wait, no coffee tent? Oh well, I'll just walk with no Wendy, no other dogs to look at, no people to smile to and and no coffee to keep me warm. Just me, Cricket and the clear sky...but wait, RAIN!
Ah, I missed Cricket, too!
The thing was, I started having an allergy attack yesterday and since it continued all day today I thought it might actually be a cold. So I thought that 1 round around the track was probably enough fresh air for the evening. I was out ahead of most everybody else and the decorations were very nice, the evening was nice, and I was enjoying "Desolation Island" on my MP3 player (one of the Master and Commander series of sea novels).
I am quite sad to miss Krista!
